"What are the small things in life that make you feel happiest? Most alive?" I love these questions, and I left them for people to answer while they waited for their bus.
The responses were wonderful: being able to see, gusts of wind, deep breaths, the moon, eskimo kisses, raking leaves, petty my dog, drinking fresh water, getting a letter in the mail, my children and God, being alive and well, the sun, singing along to the radio at the top of my lungs, embracing the rain, brief and happy interactions with strangers, knowing that we are so small, the changing of the seasons, first snow, coming back home everyday, pink soy milk, my two children, a smile from a stranger, a good book and the time to read it slowly, the ocean.
